Ms. Bott is an Operating Partner at Atlas and is based in both New York and London. She is an experienced human resources professional with more than 30 years of HR experience. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Bott was the Group HR Director for Barclays from 2011 to 2012. From 2005 to 2011, she served as the Global HR Director at BP Plc. From 2000 to 2005 Ms. Bott was a Managing Director at Marsh & McLennan Companies, a global professional services firm that provides advice and solutions in strategy, risk and human capital, and Head of Global HR for Marsh Inc. Prior to that, she worked at Barclays from 1994 to 2000; first as the HR Director for Barclays de Zoete Wedd and then Group HR Director for Barclays. Ms. Bott began her career in 1970 at Citibank in their Economics Department and also held positions in the Finance function and Leveraged Finance business. While at Citi, Ms. Bott had HR experience across a range of markets, including the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and other emerging markets. Ms. Bott began working in HR in 1978 and worked as an HR Director in most of the Wholesale Bank and Investment Banking business during the next 15 years.
From 2008 to 2011, Ms. Bott served on the Board of Directors of UBS AG and chaired the Human Resources and Compensation Committee.
Ms. Bott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Manhattanville College and is currently a Board Member for the Carter Burden Center for the Aging in New York City.
Mr. King is an Operating Partner and is based New York. He has more than 30 years of experience in the investment banking and financial services industry. Most recently, Mr. King served as Chief Executive Officer of Investment Banking at Barclays and Chairman of the Investment Banking Executive Committee. Mr. King was also a member of the Barclays Group Executive Committee which oversees all of the Barclays plc businesses.
Mr. King began his career at Salomon Brothers, which was later acquired by Citigroup. During his tenure at Citi, he held several senior roles, including Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, Head of Investment Banking for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Region and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking for the EMEA region. In 2009, Mr. King moved to Barclays as the Head of European Investment Banking and Co-Head of Global Corporate Finance. He was later promoted to Global Head of Investment Banking and then to CEO of the Investment Bank, overseeing both the banking and markets businesses, which together generated over $10 billion in revenue and had over 20,000 employees.
Mr. King received his MBA with distinction from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College. He currently serves on various public and private boards and a number of not-for-profit boards including the King School in Stamford, Connecticut.
Mr. Kantor is an Operating Partner and is based in New York. Mr. Kantor currently serves as an Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow at Harvard University. Previously, Mr. Kantor spent over 10 years as a Managing Director and Head of Research at Barclays Capital. Prior to joining Barclays Capital, Mr. Kantor served as the Head of Foreign Exchange Strategy and Chief European Economist at J.P. Morgan. He also served as a Chief Economist and strategist at Normandy Asset Management. Mr. Kantor also served as an Economist at the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. He began his career as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Lehigh University.
Mr. Kantor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Phi Beta Kapa, from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from Ohio State University.
Mr. Leibowitz is an Operating Partner, and is based in New York. Mr. Leibowitz currently serves as President and Board Member of Crux Informatics Inc. (a successor company of Incapture Technologies LLC). Previously, Mr. Leibowitz served as Chief Operating Officer of NYSE Euronext. Before joining NYSE Euronext, he was Chief Operating Officer of UBS Americas Equities. He joined UBS Americas Equities as a managing director in 2004 when the firm acquired Schwab Capital Markets. At Schwab, he was co-head of Schwab Capital Markets. Before joining Schwab in October of 2001, Mr. Leibowitz co-founded Bunker Capital, a quantitative hedge fund in 2006. He also served as CEO of REDIBook ECN and as managing director and head of program and quantitative trading at Credit Suisse First Boston. He also founded Tech Partners, LP.
Mr. Leibowitz began his career at Morgan Stanley, Inc. He is currently a Board Member of Cowen Inc., CBL Markets, and Sitehands. Mr. Leibowitz graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Economics.
Mr. Stathis is an Operating Partner at Atlas, having joined in November 2015, and is based in New York. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Stathis spent 30 years in the Investment Banking industry, most recently as a senior executive and Managing Director of Barclays Investment Bank. He held various roles at Barclays including Global Head of Prime Services Division responsible for the sales, trading, operation and technology teams for Fixed Income, Equities and Agency Derivative Services. Mr. Stathis was also Head of Distribution for the Americas and Co-Head of Global Distribution for Capital Markets Activities. He was a member of numerous committees including the Corporate and Investment Bank Operating Committee and Barclays Senior Leadership Group. He joined Barclays in 1999 as Head of Distribution and Research in the Americas and was part of the management team that built the Investment Banking Division of Barclays.
Previously, he spent 10 years at JP Morgan where he was a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Fixed Income Sales and also served as Vice Chairman of the Western Region of the investment Banking Division. Prior to that he held various positions at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and L.F. Rothschild Inc. Mr. Stathis is a member of the Advisory Board of Coherence Capital Management, LLC., Trustee and Foundation Board Member of the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia, and Board Member of Good Shepherds Services.
Mr. Stathis received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
